The Institute invites you to join us and the participants of the KiMuaNZ workshop to the finale presentation evening held at Government House.
Participants of the KiMuaNZ workshop will bring together their ideas in a finale presentation for the Governor General and other invited guests (including Ambassadors and MPs) after three days of listening to expert speakers and developing scenarios. The finale presentation will add to the national conversation on how to mitigate and adapt to climate change in New Zealand and the Pacific.
Following your registration to the event here on Lil Regie, expect to receive a formal invitation from Government House.
A little bit about the workshop:
KiMuaNZ: Exploring climate futures workshop is being held in Wellington from Monday, 1 July to Wednesday, 3 July 2019.
We are gathering 36 young New Zealanders aged 18-25 who identify with or have a connection to the Pacific. Participants will have a diverse range of skills and experiences, and have a strong commitment to shaping the long-term future of New Zealand.
This workshop aims to highlight the perspectives of young New Zealanders on adapting to and mitigating climate change, and will focus on exploring different future scenarios and strategies for New Zealand and our Pacific neighbours within a climate changing world.
We look forward to seeing you there.
